Day 5: Wednesday, July 29, 1998. Day hike in Olympic National Park, WA.
This was "day hike" day in Olympic National Park. Some of the group
was really interested in looking at the tide pools, and most enjoyed having a
relaxing day on the beach.

| Rick, Becky, Kristen, Elaine, and myself went
for a hike down the beach. We saw a nice waterfall and some giant hemlocks
(trees). Elaine and I got our boots wet trying to navigate past the
waterfall, but in all it made for a great day hike. |
