Area of expertise: Wildlife in Eagle Cap Most enjoyable hike and why: Collegiate Peaks - I loved how varied the temperature could average in one day. Most beautiful sight of the trip: Looking down at a lake in a hailstorm. Funniest moment of the trip: Finding out someone had to pee as often as I did. The most important thing I learned about backpacking: You should bring as much food as your back can handle. The most important thing I learned about myself: I like letting others get to know me. Favorite thing about the van rides: James Taylor, euchre, and trivia. Favorite overnight stay: I loved the Paisley hospitality. Would I do it again and why: Absolutely! I love the thrill of being on top of a mountain, the beautiful scenery and fresh air, and the satisfaction of being tired at the end of the day.
