Saturday, August 12, 2000 - Drive from Breckenridge, Colorado to Iowa

By the time Joe and I left Breckenridge the condos were almost totally deserted.  We knew we had a long drive ahead of us, but it's all downhill, right?  We got out of town around 7 am and then we drove, and drove, and drove...  Hmm, there was the Nebraska thing...  Then back in Iowa...  We finally hit Des Moines around 10 pm.  I dropped Joe off and headed home, where I could finally kick back and really relax before my next trip, which was only about 24 hours away.
