Pre-Trip Meeting
Before we embark on our condo climbing journey, we really need to have a group
get-together. This will be an excellent opportunity for some of us to get to
know each other as well as ask questions about the trip. It's been my experience
that asking everybody when they are most available and then scheduling a meeting
around those times is virtually impossible, especially with 20+ people. I'm
going to just set a date, time, and place and hopefully things will work out
well for most of the group. If a lot of people have problems with my selection
then we can think about rescheduling the meeting.
Date: Saturday, April 29 (Rick also offered May 6 or 7, but
I'd like to avoid commencement weekend)
Time: 5:00 pm Place: Rick's house (directions will be given later - consider it
an orienteering lesson)
Dinner: How about potluck? Everybody bring something to eat. I'll bring my dutch
oven and make cobbler.
Activity: We can lace up our running shoes and race Rick to Parkersburg.
JUST KIDDING! We'll have plenty of time for questions and for getting to know
each other. This will also be an excellent time for us to discuss issues like
transportation.

If you have problems with the date and time, please let me
know. We'll see what we can do! If you have problems with the potluck idea (I
know my parents hated potlucks) also let me know. Keep it simple. Bring any
questions you might have.
