The Greenhorn Mountain Lens Cap Expedition

I got home after climbing Greenhorn Mountain with Jon and Angie and realized I no longer had the lens cap to my camera. I looked all over, but concluded that I lost it somewhere out on the hike. It was a long shot, but my guess was on the north summit.

The drive to the trailhead takes more time than the hike, but moving on my own and feeling good I made great time, stopping to take pictures of two great bull elk along the skyline. I moved on to the north summit, peered in the rocks, and within 5 seconds had my lens cap back. It's not exactly Blackbeard's treasure, but luck was on my side and I was happy.

I went ahead to the main summit and then back down. Not a bad day, I'd say!
